Tracking Program Results

Just two days after the tracking program at Crystal Spring, and one day after a sizable snow fall, I was able to get outside and follow some tracks. 

Within minutes, I picked up a fisher trail 
(note the five toes)...  

... which led to two separate body prints such as this one, made
      as the fisher jumped out of a tree (note the tail pointing  right).      

When I thought I'd take a break of  backtracking, I found myself at the end of a new trail, an extremely fresh one
(note the subsequent 2X2 lope)... 

...I looked around for another body print, but didn't see      
any continuation of the trail. Then I looked up, and there, 
hugging the trunk of an Eastern Red Cedar on the edge
of the meadow, was a brown faced fisher!                        
       What a blessing.
